• Maintaining Condition: You cannot improve your lie by moving the ball to a different "condition" (e.g., you cannot move from the rough to the fairway, or from the fringe to the green).

• Hazards & Bunkers: If you choose to play from a hazard/bunker, the first ball must be played exactly as it lies; the mulligan ball may be placed.
